PosadMaxwan, Arcadis and Berenschot win four framework contracts from the Ministry

The consortium of which we are part together with consultancy and engineering organisation Arcadis and research and consultancy firm Berenschot recently won all four framework contracts for policy advisory and engineering services (BADI-3) for the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management. The Ministry estimates the total value of the contracts to be approximately 69 million euros per year. The framework agreements have a duration of three years, with the possibility of extending it for one additional year. The consortium announced this on Thursday.

Due to the large volume and various knowledge areas involved, the consortium has also found partners. These include Bax & Company, Horvat & Partners, Generation.Energy, Significance, Nestra BV, Omniplan, Procap, Ipsos-I/O, and EMMA.

The Ministry aims to create space for improvement in the Netherlands. In addition to good accessibility and water safety, it strives for a country with clean air, a healthy soil, and clean water. The Ministry also focuses on maximizing the reuse of materials and the careful use of resources. The consortium's task is to implement this policy, such as through projects, programs, and the preparation of decision-making information for decision-making and policy formation.

Seven consortia have been selected per contract. The framework agreement applies to the entire executive core of the Ministry, the Delta Commissioner's Staff, the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI), the Environment and Transport Inspectorate, the Netherlands Authority for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection, the Dutch Emissions Authority, and parts of the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, with a focus on serving the four directorates-general of IenW.

“As an urban design firm, we are thrilled to contribute to new spatial solutions for the Netherlands of tomorrow through research, strategy, design, and implementation.”
