Urgent challenges, new regions?
Many of the challenges that we face today in the Netherlands - such as the energy transition or housing for example - are tackled at either the provincial, or regional level. But are the Dutch regions as we currently know them, still workable as we progress towards a more sustainable living environment? Or do we need to redraw the borders?
PosadMaxwan prepared this map on behalf of the Council for the Environment and Infrastructure (Rli). The Rli has issued an advice for the Ministry of the Interior in the run-up to the National Environmental Vision, an important instrument in the transition to a more sustainable living environment.
